Application of 5-ton Mecanum wheel AGV in carrying polishing robotic arm

Project Background:

The polishing robot consists of a polishing head, a robotic arm, and accessories. The weight of the robotic arm and polishing head is about 3.2 tons, and the weight of the accessories is about 1.4 tons. The polishing robot needs to be integrated on a movable platform to achieve automatic polishing of wind turbine blades with full coverage. The customer requires an AGV that can achieve all-round movement such as lateral movement and stationary rotation. The equipment can carry the equipment without overturning after being biased, with high operating accuracy and a repeat positioning accuracy of less than 5mm. It can be integrated with a robotic arm and operate automatically.

Solution:

Hangfa provides the OmniTurtle AGV model, with a carrying capacity of 5t. The wheel system adopts heavy-duty Mecanum wheels, and the Mecanum wheel hub is integrally formed, which has strong rigidity, high carrying capacity, high assembly accuracy, and can pass through 3 ° slopes. The adjustable accuracy is better than ± 1mm, and the repeatability is less than 5mm. It can assist the robotic arm to achieve precise positioning. The robotic arm equipped with biased load runs stably, realizing automatic polishing of wind turbine blades by the robotic arm.
