During the maintenance and overhaul of rail transit vehicles, large critical components under the vehicle require safe and efficient disassembly/assembly. Traditional lifting methods face challenges: confined workspaces, complex workpiece transfer paths requiring frequent posture adjustments, and inefficient manual handling with safety risks. The customer urgently needed an intelligent solution capable of flexible maneuvering in tight spaces, precise positioning, and safely lifting 5-ton workpieces.
Hangfa Robotics provided a transport vehicle equipped with Mecanum wheels, offering a 5-ton load capacity and omnidirectional movement (forward/backward, sideways, diagonal travel, and zero-radius rotation). The AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle) navigates flexibly in confined undercarriage environments, accurately reaches target points, and steadily lifts workpieces. It achieves millimeter-level docking precision for undercarriage component installation, reducing time-consuming repetitive adjustments. This solution overcomes spatial constraints, safety hazards, and efficiency bottlenecks for handling heavy workpieces beneath rail transit vehicles, establishing itself as critical equipment for ensuring maintenance safety and operational efficiency.
