Project Background:


The cable manufacturing industry faces core challenges in transporting heavy materials like large cable reels and finished drums within production facilities. Traditional methods (overhead cranes, forklifts, or manual trolleys) suffer from efficiency, safety, and space limitations: overhead cranes lack flexibility due to fixed tracks; manual forklifts pose high risks and low efficiency while relying heavily on operator skill; congested aisles disrupt overall logistics. Amid production expansion and smart-manufacturing demands, the client urgently required an efficient, safe, and flexible automated heavy-material transport solution to optimize logistics, ensure continuous production, and reduce operational risks.

Hangfa Robotics developed a 28-ton heavy-duty AGV under the OmniTitan series. Custom-designed for oversized loads, this omnidirectional AGV integrates safety protection systems and large-capacity batteries with fast-charging. It significantly enhances cable production logistics efficiency, reduces manual dependency, prevents heavy-load handling accidents, frees up workshop space, and provides critical logistics support for smart factories – enabling efficient, safe, and flexible automated heavy-material transport.
