Project Background:

Subway vehicles have a large body size, multiple assembly processes in the production workshop, high demand for transportation from multiple production lines, and different installation heights for each component. The customer requires an AGV that can meet the installation height of various parts of the train, ensure stable and safe transportation, and accurately locate, dock, and assemble.

Solution:

Hangfa has provided 6 OmniTurtle AGVs with a carrying capacity of 1 ton, which are used for the installation of 2 each of the bottom, side, and end components of the vehicle. The lifting platform chassis adopts a Mecanum wheel system, which can move in any direction within the two position plane. To meet the installation height of various components of the train, the three lifting platforms correspond to lifting heights of 1.7m, 3m, and 5m respectively. Operators can operate the AGV to lift heavy objects for precise positioning, docking, and assembly, greatly simplifying the assembly process, enhancing operability, and reducing assembly risks.
