Application of 3t Position Adjustment AGV in Telescope Transport

Project Background:


During the assembly process of the solar telescope, it is necessary to transport a 1.8x1.8m mirror weighing approximately 2t to the installation position, ensuring smooth operation and avoiding collisions. The customer requires an AGV that can move in all directions, pass through narrow passages, and has high operational accuracy with adjustable precision of less than 1mm. The speed is adjustable, and it operates smoothly at low speed when carrying. When unloaded, it operates in high-speed mode with short running time. The device has a sense of technology and can demonstrate the intelligence of the workshop.

 



Solution:


Hangfa provides the OmniTurtle model's Mecanum wheel AGV with a carrying capacity of 3 tons, which can carry telescope mirrors to the installation station for assembly. By using a heavy-duty Mecanum wheel system, it is easy to achieve stationary rotation, tilting, and lateral movement, and can easily pass through narrow road sections with an adjustable accuracy of less than 0.5mm. The running speed of AGV is infinitely adjustable and divided into six gears. The speed increases step by step according to the gear. When running at low speed, the vibration is small and it can maintain stable operation.
