Project Background:


The traditional fuel forklift transportation method for wind turbine blades has high labor costs, high energy consumption, and can cause certain pollution to the workshop environment. The blades are relatively long, making it difficult to rely on manual collaboration between two forklifts. The customer requires an AGV that is both energy-saving and environmentally friendly, as well as capable of long-distance linkage between two vehicles to achieve safe transfer of blades.When assembling an aircraft, it is necessary to first place the fuselage onto the designated fixture, and then assemble the wings onto the fuselage. In the past, manual tooling was used to connect the wings and fuselage, which was slow in efficiency, low in safety, and had certain risks. The customer requires an AGV that can automatically transport and assemble wings and fuselage.


 



Solution:


Hangfa provides aircraft transport vehicles and wing transport vehicles, each with a carrying capacity of 20 tons, using ribbon navigation for transportation. The fuselage transport vehicle can lift the tooling that carries the fuselage, and then transport it to the designated assembly station. After it is in place, the fuselage transport vehicle descends to make the tooling fall to the ground; The wing transport vehicle is fixedly connected to the upper six degree of freedom fixture, which carries the wing. When the wing transport vehicle carries the fixture and wing to the side of the fuselage transport vehicle, it descends and makes the vehicle contact the ground. At this time, due to the large contact area, it stabilizes the fixture and wing. Then, the six degree of freedom fixture is used to fine tune the angle and position of the wing, allowing it to be smoothly and quickly installed on the fuselage. After installation, the entire aircraft will be transported to the designated location by the aircraft transport vehicle.
